basic motel style OK rooms a bit dated but clean.good for a one night stop travelling along route ONE. pismo is small town with good beach (15 min walk) and 30-40 shops, cafes and bars.just enough to do on an afternoon arrival, and you didn't want to spend a load of money.
Location, quiet, near to beach, only good stay for one day
for breakfast was almost nothing, broken coffe machine and old muffins, no internet (free one was advertized)
friendly staff, clean room for a good price, pool very clean
The closeness to the beach and the campground where our daughter and family were staying, also easy foot access to town and local restaurants. The staff was very courteous and accommodating. Our room was very clean and sufficient for our needs.
Lack of Danish for breakfast, except on Friday. Mini muffins only available on other days.
Very nice office manager. Hotel is comfortable...needs painting, good family people there.
I feel the place could use a bit of professional landscape design.
Room was just ok. No AC, pretty old rooms, but what you get for the price is what really got me. 160 for one night is ridiculous. You are obviously paying for the location and not much else.
I liked that it was a good walk to the beach and there was a small park next to it.
We had to basically kick the door to open it from the outside. The bedding on one of the beds looked dirty. And the shampoo that was provided looked used. There was no ac so the room was hot. And the drain in the shower was clogged so the water took long to go down.
I stayed one night. The tv was faulty, no wash cloths, construction site in business at 7 am first morning of stay. Inferior facility, I got what I paid for. Moved to the Sandcastle Inn on the beach, it was beautiful and I got what I paid for.
Would stay again, clean room, convient, close to beach, friendly staff and resonable price.
Location and price. For an older motel the rooms were decent. The bathroom was remodeled adn the flat screen tv was nice.
Walls with nieghbors were too thin. We heard every cough. Also--the windows would not lock.
Location, location, location. Clean - recently remodeled, ignore all the negative reviews. Great value, easy access, accommodating staff.
Price should be about $40-45. Pillows very small.....
Close to the beach and center of Pismo Beach. Cheap room rates.
bring own soaps/shampo and enjoy the stay
The staff was very friendly. It was centrally located in Pismo Beach and to our friends who had rented a house across the street.
It seemed as if the plumbing in the bathroom was pretty run-down. The shower fixtures looked like they had been caulked many times.
